Physical description

Bull sharks are large and stocky with a grey dorsal (upper) surface and pale to white underbelly. They have:

  • a short, blunt snout
  • a high relatively sharply pointed dorsal fin
  • a relatively large second dorsal fin.

Bull sharks may grow to a length of 340 cm.
